Todd Joseph Danforth is a documentary photographer and writer. His photographic work is deeply informed by loss and explores themes of memory and legacy through the lens of family–both biologic and chosen. Projects include The Art of Losing (2009) and Coping with the Limitations of Time (2010 - 2016), both exploring the ways we navigate physical and emotional loss in community, with our families, and as individuals; and Queer Inheritance (2022 - present), portraits of elders from the first visible LGBT community in modern history.
